
Mr. Charles Franklin Sharpe, Jr., age 70, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2017. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Charles Franklin Sharpe, Sr., and Bertha White Sharpe. Mr. Sharpe was a 1965, graduate of Donelson High School, and a Veteran of The United States Air Force. He was baptized while overseas in the Air Force. Mr. Sharpe retired from Bell South in 2007, after many years of service. He also served as a job steward for CWA local # 3808. Mr. Sharpe was a lover of music, dancing and dogs. Surviving are his devoted wife of forty seven years Joyce Scott Sharpe. Son and daughter-in-law Charles F. Sharpe, Jr. (Scottie) and Diana. Brother and sister-in-law Eric and Sue Sharpe. Grandchildren; Electra, Julia, Abby and Henry. Brother-in-law James Parker Scott. Aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Thursday, November 9, 2017, at one o’clock in the afternoon at the Mount Olivet Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Russ King officiating. Interment will follow in the Historic Mount Olivet Cemetery, with military honors provided by the United States Air Force Honor Guard. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Mr. Shape’s caregivers; Robbie Howard, Felicia Falls, Rosetta Sanchez, Paulina Lessary, April Martinez, and the Physical Therapy Team at Life Care of Old Hickory.
