I was 15 when I attended my first con. It wasn't until 16 that I went to the con that Charlie was at. He always had a smile he always offered hugs and he was ready with a story.

Later as I became more involved with Outsidecon he was ready with his guitar to join in the fun. It was always close to his birthday so his sister would always bring a cake just for celebrating him.

I always got a kick out of seeing him join Mark and the band up on stage. The Molly Maguires would sing campy-songs and Charlie would join right in.

He was always ready to dress up as though he was a character especially if he had read the series or seeing the TV related. He especially loved the Dresden Files. There was not a story he did not leave Untold. He will be missed

Charlie has been a part of my fandom family for over 30 years. He was always there with a smile and a song. He will be greatly missed by myself and by many. May he rest in peace.
