Christine Owens Warden - passed away at her home, Arrowhead, in Franklin on November 15, 2011. Preceded in death by her husband, Alvin P. Warden, parents, William A. and Estelle N. Owens, one brother and four sisters. Survived by son, Richard A. Warden (Carolyn), daughters, Rita Warden Short, Sue Warden Pewitt (Anthony), Cynthia Warden Beasley; grandsons, Richard A. Warden, Jr., Stephen W. Warden (Deb), John Pewitt, Jr., Jase Short; granddaughters, Mary Christine Short, Morgan Jean Beasley; five great-grandchildren; one niece and three nephews. She was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church where she taught her beloved "Lydia Class" for 38 years. She loved working with the young people of the church and had a special place in her heart for the children of the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Her loving spirit will be missed by her family and friends. Services will be conducted by Rev. Jerry Winfield at 11:30 a.m., Friday, November 18, 2011 at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
