Chris was first and foremost a creative and passionate soul. He channeled many of his creative talents into his business, Pisgah Stained Glass, crafting beautiful and unique pieces of stained glass and metalwork for friends, family, and clients alike. Beyond his work, he also loved spending time outdoors, whether that was taking up rappelling in his younger years, sitting next to a fire, finding geodes in the creek, or burning rubber on his four wheeler.
He was preceded in death by his mother Karen A. and his brothers, Eric M. and James C. III.
He is survived by his father James C., his children, Ainsley Hailey, Eric Highsmith, and Sammuel McConnell (Kayla Jackson), and his grandchild, Nova Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3rd from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Friday, April 4th from 10-11:00 a.m. at Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home followed by a procession to Calvary Cemetery.
