Curtis "Hilock" Kenneth Rogers passed away suddenly on Dec. 21, 2013. He is survived by his wife Donzale' Kennedy Rogers, sons David (Shreka) Rogers and Gavin Perry, brothers Leonard (Rev. Teresa) Simmons of Loris, SC, William Simmons, Sr. of Conway, SC and Robert Tyrone (Charnette) of Chesapeake, VA, sister-in-law Yvonne Bender and her son Carson Bender, devoted cousin Genar (Rev. Jerry) Faulk; a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Curtis retired from Textron Aerostructures after 34 years of service as an Inspector.. His love for fine and antique cars was well known. He was a collector of many things. Curtis never meet a stranger and acquired many friends over the years at work and in his personal life. He also loved his "fur kids" Princess and Buddy. Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, Dec. 28th at two thirty in the afternoon, visitation with family and friends from one o’clock until the service, two thirty in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Pallbearers will be fellow employees of Textron.
