I worked as a nurse anesthetist with Cynthia at Vanderbilt. She was an excellent anesthetist and a loyal friend and so much fun to work with . We all missed her when she left. Recently I had been able to visit with her by phone and text. Sending love to her family.

Admission of conflict of interest:

I was one of Cynthia's interior designers but I was also the breeder of her infamous Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named "Holly Wood". No dog ever had a cushier life or was more extravagantly loved and indulged. Unfortunately for Cynthia but fortunately for my business, Holly proceeded to destroy much of her fine furniture which generated plenty of work for my company. Cynthia, I swear that it wasn't a conspiracy!

Cynthia was a doll!

I learned more from Cynthia about giving an anesthetic than from just about anybody else. She was just a wonderful anesthetist. The last time I saw her was at Centennial Club. I was playing the piano for their luncheon program and she asked me if I remembered her. How could I forget her? Thank you Cynthia. You will always be with me.
