Mary, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father.  For the short time I was at ABB, I remember how often you would speak of him. I truly admired the father/daughter bond that you shared.  I lost my mom last year and know how devastating it is to lose a parent, role model and best friend.  My heart goes out to you and your family.

Sara, I've walked in your shoes under similar circumstances and understand your pain.  From personal experience, I would advise you that the grief will someday be less intense and become more familiar. Darrell and I shared the same birthdate(s).  I will always remember Darrell for his devotion to family, professionalsm, and endurance/dedication to the game...whether it be golf, hockey, Titans football or whatever, Darrell remains the ultimate sportsman!

I worked with Darrell for several years and I always enjoyed his company during our company meetings and events. We had a lot of laughs and I will always think of him when I see the Titans play. My deepest sympathies to family and friends.

When I joined the Peterbilt sales team in 1999, Darrell was quick to welcome me to the group.  I always enjoyed his kindness and great sense of humor.  When I found out he loved hockey, well that 'sealed the deal'.  The Predators now have a powerful force cheering them on, from on high.

My deepest sympathies to his family. I had the pleasure of working with Darrell and enjoying his company when work brought him to Seattle. When his peers laughed loudly (you know who you are), Darrell's wit was more subtle, dare I say more clever, and always right on the mark.

I am very sorry to learn of Darrell's passing and know that he will be missed by all who new him.  He was a true Southern Gentleman and I valued this quality when he and I worked together at PACCAR Parts.  I will always remember his dedication to his family, his professionalism and his smile. Although, I have not seen or spoken to Darrell in many years, I have fond memories of him from our high school days together. He was a good friend and I'm sure has been a wonderful husband and father. I am so sorry that he had to deal with a horrible illness in the last years of his short life, and, I know that he is in a better place, rejoicing in God's kingdom and making a place for those who will join him again one day. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up with Don, Dave and Darrell and haven't seen them for years.  But, I can tell by your photos, Darrell was a very blessed and loved man and had a wonderful life.  He looks so happy in  the photos and judging by the other entries in the guest book, he was very loved by all.

"My Brother, My Friend", our time together was both a lot of fun and that guy we could bear our soles to each other.  Darrell was always family first.  Sara, Mary, Dale and the grandkids were always his first priority, even ahead of golf.  What a man he was during this ordeal, he never gave up or complained.   I will miss my partner on the links, but mostly I will just miss him.  Like Big John, I am looking forward to that foursome in heaven.
