Debbie, I just found out about your Father's passing, through Jilly, who gave me this website link. My sympathy is with you at this time. I know how close you & he were. When I met him that one time, it was obvious how much he loved you by the way he talked & looked at you. I'll never forget him saying "this is my baby",as he gave you a hug, & it was obvious you were. Take comfort in knowing all your friends are here for you. Do not hesitate to call me, if you need anything.

Brenda, you have my deepest and most sincere sympathy for your loss. I know how much he meant to you. I'm sure he and Duane are having a blast in heaven. Remember, he is only gone in flesh and bone, but his spirit will live forever in your memories of him.

Brenda,I pray that God has His arms around you and holding you as I would if I were there. I wish you peace and joy in the fact that your dad has gone to be with God.I wish you love and contentment while you await your reunion with him. Time on earth is quick but when we reach our ultimate home we will be with our loved ones forever. Think of your dad daily and remember the wonderful times you spent with him....That is a gift from him to you....memories... how wonderful a gift could we receive?

Dear Debbie, I never met your Father, but loved hearing about all the fun trips you had with him. Cleaning out his pond for him, having a few cold ones, & playing cards with him. I know you will miss him greatly, but take comfort in all the good times. You always said, when he goes, you would miss how much he made you laugh, the most. You will laugh with him again one day.

A candle burns at Calvary UMC in Arlington Virginia. You and your family have been raised in prayer.
"Let not your heart be troubled : ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am , there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know , and the way ye know .
John 14:1-4

Brenda - I am so sorry to hear of your daddy's passing. A candle burns for you at this hour at Calvary UMC; you and your family have been raised in prayer. May God hold you in the palm of his hand as your Dad has been raised on Eagle's wings. May fond memories help ease your pain at these time. Love from Alexandria, VA
