David Pinkney Caldwell Jr.

David Caldwell passed away on Dec 19,2020 in Nashville , Tn . David was born on November 4, 1930 to Eva Rowe Caldwell and David Pinkney Caldwell. He graduate School from East High school, Soon after he joined the military and spent several years.He married his beloved wife of many years Yvonne Davis Caldwell in Nashville ,Tn in 1963.

Some of David’s many accomplishments include his work at Nashville Automobile dealer since the 1950’s, owner of Superior Motors, Dixie motors inc. and from 1989 to present. David spent many years as a Real estate investor

Dave Caldwell was a man of faith. He was known best for his big heart ,ambition, super work ethic and telling a great story . He took pride in his work and his family.

Throughout his life , he enjoyed boating with family and friends, piloting his plane , and had tremendous love of racing and riding motorcycles. Mr. Caldwell was a member of First Baptist Church in Nashville, Belle Meade Country Club, Cedar Creek Yacht Club , Nashville Yacht Club , and Naples Boat Club.

Survivors include- his son David P. Caldwell III and daughter-in-law Michal L. Caldwell, granddaughters -Emily Reece Caldwell and Anna Claire Caldwell all living in Nashville .

He is preceded in death - wife Yvonne Davis Caldwell who passed away on December 20 , 2005 His Sister Evelyn Powell, Brother Ben Caldwell Mother - Eva Rowe and Father - David Caldwell sr.

Throughout Mr. Caldwell’s life he was faithful in his support to many charitable organizations in Nashville . His family will remember him most for his generous and loving heart in helping families and children in need.

A gathering of family and friends will be held December 23rd at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton's Dogwood Room from 3-6 pm and a celebration of life service will be held in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall at 6pm. Because of Covid 19 we are asking for people to social distance and masks to be worn .
