Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing Carey’s Daddy, I feel based on the pictures I saw, the stories I heard and the large gathering of Friends & Family, he was truly an amazing Husband, Father, Grandfather & Friend to so many. Carey & Chloe know each & every day you will now have an amazing Angel watching over you. May you be at Peace in your Heart.

David and I "watched" Vol football games together via gmail. We'd "coach" the plays and celebrate the wins. And we'd text each other wearing orange shirts and hats.
And we became humor warriors. I had read some research that proved laughter was good medicine. So would send some smiles and laughter as he was going through therapy. He would send back a "ha ha."
Love you all. Peggy

I love this picture of us, but of course when I say us this is before our amazing Chloe Abigail entered the world. This was in Evansville, IN during Carey’s graduation from the University of Evansville. The Earheart family is a smart hard working family who inspires others to love God with all their mind and strength.
I’m especially thankful for the example David left with me to work hard. This is a man who delivered newspapers before he had to be at work at 4:00am. He understood the importance of providing for his family, and even when he did not want to do what the LORD had prepared in advance for him to do he did it anyway.
He was a true shepherd, husband and father, and everyone in or touched by his circle of influence is brought closer to the LORD Jesus Christ. Nothing better can be said about a human being.
If he hasn’t already and as I wrote earlier my friend David has been told, “Well done good and faithful servant.” I’ll be talking about this man for the rest of my life because the legacy he left behind will no doubt be a centerpiece of conversation on the new earth, and when we all assemble on the new earth we’ll never say goodbye. Never. And we’ll have a huge backyard to run around in and play football. GBO! 🏈🏈🏈

I will always rember David at Fantasy Football time and Super Bowl Game parties at my home. So honored to have gotten to know this man and his love of sports, Our Lord and his knowledge of the Bible.

My thoughts are with his beautiful wife Barbara and his family as they grieve the loss then replace it with wonderful memories of their life with David.

David may your rest in peace and may your team win!

My wonderful grandpa, my Bop went home Nov. 9, 2019 around 7;15pm. As much as I am hurting and missing him, I am surrounded by a peace knowing that he is in a better place. My Bop was an amazing and strong man. As I've been going through his things, I've come across his prayer lists, and it reminds how much of a godly man he was. He was, without a doubt, the godliest man I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I thank God I was lucky enough to be loved by someone of such character; I will forever cherish the countless memories I shared with him. Words can't describe how much I will miss him, but I know God is rejoicing at the gain of such an amazing man. I love you forever Bop. Thank you for everything.

My dear sweet Dad passed away yesterday. My heart is broken, but I’m filled with a perfect peace knowing he doesn’t have to suffer pain and sickness on this earth. He battled Multiple Myeloma for seven long years and fought so hard to stay around for us, but the complications became too much to bear. Because of him I have a love for road trips, singing in the car, UT Volunteer football, Chicago Cubs baseball, Motown and old school country music, concerts, sarcasm, corny jokes, and Krystal hamburgers. He was funny, quiet, kind, strong, steady, and absolutely always around when I needed him. We loved each other fiercely and completely. This grief is intense, but it’s an honor to be grieving over a man with so much love in his heart. I know the heavy pain will eventually pass, and the beautiful memories with my wonderful father will forever remain. He will always be missed. I love you, Daddy! 🧡🧡🧡

My sweet daddy went home last night. He was an amazing loving man. He fought so hard He will be missed like crazy.

I’m not the writer of the family so I’ll save tributes for them but I do want to thank everyone for kind thoughts, words, and prayers over the past several months as he fought the good fight. He has finished his race, if you knew him please pass his love on to others to honor him as he truly loved the least of these. I am blessed to call him daddy and for my baby to call him Bop.
