I met David back when Ronnie Hunter and I started Tennessee Speed Sport.  He would come by every few days and visit .  His 6 cylinder cars were the hottest in the country, as he held National Records  in various classes.  
I have not seen him in a few years, but  he sure was a "Good old Boy"

Sending Prayers to Davids' Family. We have lost to many Racing Friends the last few years. Larry always enjoy racing David at The Hill and other race tracks. He was a very Good Competitor. Cherish all your memories because they are Special.

  Just now heard about David we are so very sorry for your loss. We have a lot of good memories of David back when we all went drag racing. He was a very good friend and a good racing friend. Our thoughts are with the family at this time.
