David Wilson McMackin

David practiced law in Nashville for more than four decades serving as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Tennessee, and Vice President of Associates Financial Services before establishing the law firm of McMackin, McLemore, Garfinkle and Walker.

David was preceded in death by his sons, David Wilson McMackin, Jr., and Richard Clements McMackin and his brother John William McMackin. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marilyn Schena McMackin, her sons, Price Edwin Harrison III, Mark Michael Harrison, and daughter-in-law Stacy Davis Harrison, MD. He, also, leaves his grandson, Andrew McMackin, of Nashville, niece Patricia McMackin Doswell and nephew John Thomas McMackin of Fort Worth, Texas.

A private service will be held at Saint George’s Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, donations

in David’s name can be made to Saint George’s Church, Alive Hospice, or a charity of your choice.
