Deborah Nevill Newsom, 70 of Nashville died January 13, 2023. She was born February 8, 1952 in Memphis, TN to Samuel and Helen Holland. Deborah spent her childhood in Memphis where she graduated from high school. Deborah continued her education graduating with a bachelor’s degree in education from Tennessee Tech. Deborah worked and retired from the State of Tennessee having spent most of her time in the human services department.
Deborah is survived by her husband Ronald “Keith” Newsom, Nashville, sisters; Salen White, Jackson, TN. And Bevlyn Shepherd, Holcomb,MS. Step-children; Jennifer Kunkle, Elizabeth Mitchell and Michael Newsom, grandchild Lucas Leonidas Newsom and 5 step-grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday January 23, 2023 from 12:00 Noon -2:00PM with a Celebration of Life service at 2:00PM at the Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, Tn 615-883-2361.
