PARMAN, Dixie Lee, age 80, of Nashville, November 17, 2010. A member of Charlotte Heights Church of Christ, she is survived by her sisters,, Cornell Love, Marie Fox, Samanatha Austin; brother, E.B. Turner. As a long time manager of the production facilities at TRAFCO and United Methodist Communications, she was widely known and respected by the media production community in Nashville. She assembled and managed production crews for a wide variety of films, television programs, commercials and audio recordings for the United Methodist Church and many other clients. Among the many television programs were series such as “Catch The Spirit”, “News Odyssey”, and “The Frugal Gourmet Keeps The Feast”. In the 1970’s, a film study series on transactional analysis entitled “Learning to Live” was widely sold and used by universities, churches, chaplains, and study groups. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 19, 2010 at Charlotte Heights Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Nashville National Cemetery.
