Dominic, you were such a kind and patient man.  I always looked forward to our gatherings at the holidays and listening to the many stories of the old country.  You were there for Mom through all the good times and most of all there for the trying times as well.  Our girls knew you as their Grandpa Dom and it meant so much to us when you saw them come into this world.  It was special for them to see you and grandma at the various functions, soccer, dance, recitals, and birthdays.  I enjoyed picking your brain when it came to resolving a situation with the house or a car and thoroughly enjoyed working with you on the landing.  You always had a way of figuring things out.  We'll have to try and figure out your awesome wild rice dressing recipe!  You and your kind spirit will be missed and the many memories cherished.  It is with love and gratitude I write, may God's promise of life everlasting comfort all of us who grieve, and know that we look forward to meeting you again with all the saints in heaven.  Love you and will miss you Dom!

To my Dad.  Your passing happened while I was traveling abroad and I could not make it it time to be there.  I want to thank you Dad for choosing me to be your daughter, and raising me.  You taught me so much. I am grateful for giving me your name, for the home you gave me, for giving me strong values. I am who I am today because of you.  I choose to remember the good.  What I don't understand while I'm here in this broken world, I have faith God will reveal all in His perfect heaven. I'm so glad that you experienced lasting love & happiness with Tommye and her family. I'm just sad that the distance kept you from your family in CA but I understand how these things are.  Dad I know you did the best you could and that's enough for me.  I love you so very much, I always have, I always will.  I know you're at complete peace now, with your Mom, Dad, and Aunt Marie there to bring you home. I look forward to us all being together in God's perfect grace.  Until then, I know you're always with me Dad.

Uncle Dominic, Thank you for always loving our family and it's Sicilian roots.  Your stories were interesting and funny and I will never forget how many family photos you always collected.  I most of all want to thank you for being a loving brother to my mom!  Your love for her and my dad's was amazing.   I will miss you.  Until we meet again, may you enjoy God's treasures in Heaven!

I love you so much Grandpa Dom! I always appreciated your support at my dance recitals and looked forward to the coin collections and $2 bills you always seemed to have. I have very fond memories of holidays spent with you. As I grew older, I also came to appreciate your conversation and always enjoyed learning about memories of living in Sicily. You had a clear love for the world, your family and you instilled in me a curiosity that I will have forever. May you Rest In Peace. Love, Mary Catherine

Mr Dominic Carini was Heaven Sent for my Mother, and was truly meant to be with her. The love he showed My Mother was forever and always ! Dominic was so intriguing, and influential to my two sons Thomas Jr and Ryan with his knowledge of many interest.They will miss Grandpa Dom ! His Italian dressing he cooked for so many Thanksgiving's and Sauce are so unforgettable as well ! His smile will be missed !
