Yes, another holiday, another new year, 2019, and I still feel this horrible loneliness for you, and emptiness of heart. Going on six years in June, and yet  I still want you back beside me. God has taught me so much and carefully watches over me, and He holds my hand as you once did, but I miss you.

November 22 2013, Time keeps passing, and I still so dearly love you and miss you. My life is so empty and lonely without you. I don't know what I would have done if God had not picked up all these broken pieces and urged me to go on...without...you. My only thought since 1968 was that I could hold your hand forever, God has taken on that job and holds my hand until I can be with you once more in eternity. I love you with everything in my heart and I so miss you. I so miss you.

All this time has passed and I keep expecting a call from you or to have you show up at work. I miss you Dad. I love you

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I will miss seeing and speaking to Don when he was taking his daily walks throughout the neighbourhood. He was a very nice gentleman.
