

Donald Ray West Sr., a beloved resident of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on March 30, 1943, Don was a compassionate, generous, and kind-hearted individual who touched the lives of many with his thoughtful and caring nature.
Don was a man of many passions. He loved golfing and won numerous golf tournaments throughout his life. He also enjoyed watching football, which brought him great joy. A devoted member of the Scottsboro Baptist Church for over 15 years, Don served as a Sunday school teacher, sharing his faith and wisdom with others.
His love for his dogs—Honey, Jasper, Rocky, and Eva—was well-known, and he was a great friend to all who knew him. Don leaves behind his children, Matthew (Ashlie) West and Donnie (Candi) West, and his cherished grandchildren, Kyler West, Mallory West, Elliott West, Olivya West, Keenan West, Tristan West, and Corbin West. He is also survived by his siblings, Ralph West, Glenda Pugh, and Brenda Adams.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Willie Belle West, and eight siblings. His memory will continue to be cherished by his family and friends, who will remember him for his generous spirit and the love he shared with those around him.
