Age 83, passed away on January 8, 2018. Dorothy was a retired Metro School Teacher. She is survived by husband of 58 years, Dr. Wiley C. Baines Jr.; brother, Dr. Edward C. (Jacquelyn)Wright Jr., of New Orleans, LA; sister-in-law, Mary B. Etheridge; nieces, Paula Wright and Marilyn E. Gross; nephews, Anthony K. (Anita) and Reginald Etheridge; Gregory and Ronnie Wright. Funeral Service will be held at Noon on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Glen Leven Presbyterian Church, 3906 Franklin Road, with Visitation to begin at ten-thirty in the morning and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Ivy Beyond the Wall Service to be held fifteen minutes prior to service. Rev. Mark S. Bryan, Ph.D., officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Ivy Center Foundation of Nashville, 4344 Ashland City Highway, Nashville Tennessee, 37218 and/or Glen Leven Presbyterian Church General Fund.
