CROWDER, Dorothy Hope Swindell, age 90 of Hermitage, March 7, 2011. Preceded in death by her husband, Warren James Crowder. Survived by son, Robert Leslie (Deborah) Crowder; daughter, Janice Faye (Mark) Hancock; grandchildren, Brian Hancock, Amy Sims, Shelly Rose, Robbie Crowder, Nathan Deal; 8 great grandchildren. Mrs. Crowder was a life time member and co-founder of Perry Heights Church of Christ and an active member of the Blue Birds Club. Funeral service to be conducted 12:00 noon on Wednesday March 9, 2011 in Hibbett and Hailey Chapel with Bro. Mark Claypool officiating, interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Serving as Active Pallbearers, Brian Hancock, Robbie Crowder, Nathan Deal, George Sims, Scott Rose and Barry Cary. Members of Perry Heights Church of Christ will be Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 4-8 pm and 2 hours prior to the service on Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Alive Hospice or Perry Heights Church of Christ.
