Dorothy “Dot” Ann McKenzie, age 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones. Dorothy was born on February 16, 1933, in Nashville, Tennessee, the third child and only daughter of William Nelson Keysaer and Nell Mason Welch. Dorothy was preceded in death by her father and mother; and brothers, William “Bill” Keysaer and Thomas “Tom” Keysaer. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Murray Lynn McKenzie; two daughters, Kathleen McKenzie Jenkins, and Sherry Lorraine Harrison (Tommy); two sons, Thomas Lynn McKenzie (Janice) and Kenneth Michael McKenzie (Wanda); six grandchildren, Christopher Harrison (Erin), Andrea Tatum, Ashley Ensminger (Brian), Amy Tummonds (Jason), Michelle McKenzie, LeeAnn Williams (Justin), and seven-great grandchildren. Dorothy will be remembered by all that knew her as a loving, devoted and unselfish daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and caregiver. There will be an informal graveside service for family and friends at 1:30 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
