Dorothy H. Patterson

PATTERSON, Dorothy H., 82, of Nashville, TN, passed away, May 24, 2011 peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. She was one of nine children born to Charles Hudgens and Nellie Cauthron in Nashville, TN. She was predeceased by her spouse, Ernest B. Patterson; daughter, Mary Frances Patterson Hollis; grandson, William Franklin Patterson; two brothers and four sisters. She was a loving mother of 4 children, grandmother of 10, and great grandmother of 19. She is survived by sons, Johnny E (Danielle) Patterson of Yorktown, VA, Ernest E (Beverly) Patterson of Murfreesboro, TN and Charles W (Jamie) Patterson of Nashville, TN; sisters, Lois Smith and Norma Carrell of Nashville, TN; sister-in-law Janice Hudgens of Joelton, TN and brother-in-law Lawrence Anders of Lebanon, TN. Pallbearers will be Shawn Patterson, Johnny Patterson Jr., JB Smith, Shawn Batts, Mark Deering and Brigg Deering. Visitation will be held Thurs. May 26, 2011 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Fri. May 27, 2011 at 1:00pm at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with visitation held two hours prior. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Services will be officiated by Don Burnett.
