Preceded in death by her husband James Roy Pearigen Jr. and son, James Charlton Pearigen Sr.
Survived by daughter, Janet Hammond and six grandchildren, James Charlton Pearigen Jr, Rebecca Ann Bullock, Andrea Christine Hammond, Nicholas Howard Pearigen, Daniel E. Hammond and Leigh Marie Mitchell; ten great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was a charter member of Glendale Baptist Church, and enjoyed playing bridge.
Gathering of family and friends, will be on Friday from six o’clock until eight o’clock, at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Service will be eleven o'clock in the morning on Saturday at Glendale Baptist Church, 1021 Glendale Lane - Nashville, TN 37204.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Alive Hospice or Glendale Baptist Church.
