Durward graduated from Antioch High School and had a 24-year professional career with K.J. Quinn Chemical Company. Durward served for six years in the Tennessee Air National Guard and was actively involved in his community. He coached hundreds of children in basketball and football, served as president of Jr. Pro Football, president of Bass Masters, and was a TSSAA football referee. He was also a member and trustee of Arlington United Methodist Church.
Durward was elected to the Metro Council in 1987 and served until 1995.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle Hall (Pratt); daughter, Dayron (Dale) Byrd; son, Daron (Ginger) Hall; grandchildren Brandon (Elisabeth) Byrd; BreAnna (Bobby) Neal; Dylan Hall and Weston Hall. Durward is also survived by his brother Joe (Carol) Hall; nephews Trace (Charlotte) Hall, Chad (Melody) Hall, and Phil (Karen) Hall; nieces Vicky Hope, Kim Johnson, and Beth Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents Durward and Mildred Hall and brother Phil Hall.
Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at ten o’clock, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall.
Gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home.
