

Edna was born on November 12, 1928 in Alexandria, TN, the daughter of JB and Livy Davenport Owen. She married Durward “Jack” L. Estes on November 28, 1952 in Old Hickory, TN, and he precedes her in death along with her parents.
Surviving are two daughters, Sondra (Tim) Henquinet and Leesa (Bill) Aucoin); son, Wayne (Mary Jane) Estes; grandchildren, Jerry Aucoin, Chris Henquinet, Lizzy Henquinet, Brandon Estes, Tina Aucoin, and Billy (Juliette) Aucoin; great-grandchildren, Isaac Aucoin, Eli Aucoin, and Owen Aucoin; sisters, Betty McClellan and Doris Simmons; sister-in-law, Billie Coggins; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Edna worked for Baptist Hospital as a data processor, and she was A 50+ year member of the Hermitage Hills Baptist Church and the Dupont Girls.
Edna truly lived her life to the fullest. She was able to drive herself anywhere she wanted to go 5 days prior to her passing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Edna will be greatly missed.
A private gathering and service will be held for the family only due to Covid precautions. A Celebration of Life will be live streamed via the Mount Olivet Funeral Home and Cemetery Facebook page on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 12:00 pm. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edna’s honor to a charity or organization of your choice.
