Edna Unger Falk, of Arlington, Massachusetts, died at age 92. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Edna was a long-time Nashville resident where she and her husband Rabbi Randall Falk (who predeceased her) were anchors of the Jewish community. Loving mother to Randy, of blessed memory, Jon (Debbie), and Heidi (Chris), and loving grandmother of Naomi, Marni, Rachel (Ben) and Eli.
Edna studied accounting in college and worked as a bookkeeper before she married and became a full time homemaker, mother and rabbi’s wife. An avid baker, seamstress and hostess extraordinaire, Edna shared a table with the luminaries such as Eli Wiesel, Tom Dooley, and others. Edna will be remembered as a woman devoted to her family, friends, and community.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meharry Medical College or Hebrew Union College .
