
Mrs. Edna Gilmore Norman age 94, of Cookeville, TN, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017. Mrs. Norman was born in Rutherford, TN, on July 17, 1922, the daughter of the late Tollie Roland Gilmore and Addie Cavitt Gilmore. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Norman was a devoted preacher’s wife and was a wonderful mother. She enjoyed playing the piano, teaching Sunday School, and singing in the choir. Survivors include her husband of seventy four years, Maury Norman; four children, M.A. Norman, Anne Norman-Rhea, Rebekah Norman, and Julia (Mark) Wilson; six grandchildren, Kelsi Wilson, Steven Wilson, Rachel Hibdon, Lisa Norman, Staci Smith, and Tony Meyers; and great-grandchildren, Charley Meyers, Addison Wilson, Garrett Wilson, and Camden Jack Wilson. Also, a very special friend, LaVonna Phy survives. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at ten o’clock, Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Fleming and Rev. Ronnie Pittenger officiating. Interment will follow at Bells Chapel Cemetery in Dyer, TN at 1:30 P.M. Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Tuesday from five o’clock until seven thirty at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
