Elena Mae (Sue) Strasser passed away on November 18, 2015.Born in beautiful East Tennessee to the late Thomas Abraham Carter and Allie Mae Carter.Elena was preceded in death by beloved siblings, Thomas Carter, Margaret Baker, Thelma St. Denis, Ruth Rosenthal, and Madge Hamby.Survivors include loving husband of fifty-seven years, Joseph Henry Strasser, III; niece, Audrey Mae Clark (Bruce), sister-in-law, Nancy Forshee (Robert); niece, Sharon Taukohl (Bruce); nephew, David Forshee (Sarah); nephew, Mark Forshee; great niece, Charlotte Haukohl; great nephews, William Haukohl, Robert Haukohl, Maichael Forshee and Lucas Forshee; as well as extended family members, Ruth and Richard Topete; and Judy and Reverend Wayne Green of Florence, Alabama. Graveside Services will be held at two o' clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to service at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
