Born to the late Henry and Sudie Davidson Pepper in Bedford County, Tennessee, she was the youngest of 13 children and the last to expire.
She earned a Bachelor and Masters of Science degrees from Tennessee State University and pursed further study at George Peabody College for Teachers. She was a retired elementary school teacher.
Elizabeth is survived by her only child Irma B. Lee and grandchildren Horace R. Lee III and Candice A. Lee and a great grandchild Jennifer E. Lee and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will take place at 1pm on Thursday, October 8, 2020 in Woodlawn Memorial Park’s Cross Mausoleum. Gathering of family and friends from 12:30 until 1pm prior to the service.
