Mrs. Elizabeth Black Price age 92, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. Mrs. Price was born in Lawrenceburg, TN, on February 14, 1925, the daughter of the late John Black and Lutie Mae Brown Black. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, Post 1291. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband, Willie T. Price; two daughters, Nancy Dovey and Jane Lawson; and a brother, William Aldridge, Jr. Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Deese and Vicki Horton (Vince); sister, Ruth Sorrow; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Graveside and interment services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017, at ten o’clock, Woodlawn Memorial Park. Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday from noon until eight o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
