Preceded in death by parents, John Bennett and Iris Smith Bennett; sisters, Dorathy Reed Nichols and Hester Pechtold; brother, John Ray Bennett and wonderful husband of 52 years of marriage, Thomas E. Harris.
Survivors: sons, Billy R. Harris and Rickey D. Harris; granddaughters, Angela Alexandrow, Vickey Lewis and Brandy Whitehouse; grandson, Geoffrey T. Harris; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Harris Landron, Grace Alexandrow, Novalee and Devan Whitehouse, Summer Nicole Lewis. Great great-grandchildren, Keanu W. Landron and Vada Josephine Landron; sisters, Nelle Karr and Nancy Anderson; brother, Jerry Bennett.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
A gathering of family & friends for Elsie will occur Friday, March 17, 2023 from 11:30AM to 1:00PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204. A celebration of life service will occur Friday, March 17, 2023 at 1:00PM, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204 with Dan McDaniels officiating. A graveside service will occur Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
