Mrs. Emma Pearl Witty Arnold age 92, of Nashville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Mrs. Arnold was born in Woodbury, TN, on May 19, 1925, the daughter of the late Shelah Witty and Thursa Todd Witty. She was a member of Hillsboro Church of Christ since 1950 and retired as a bookkeeper with the U.S. Department of Transportation. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Hall Arnold.
Survivors include her daughter, Victoria A. Schoenly (Steven, Sr.); two grandsons, Steven Schoenly, Jr. (Larisa) and Paul A. Schoenly (Arlene); four great-grandchildren, Frances, Chloe, Daniel, and Sophia Schoenly; a sister, Maggie Colley (Gary); and a brother, Dr. Carl Witty (Carolyn).
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017, at one o’clock in the afternoon, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Dr. Carl Witty and Randall Pardue officiating.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Saturday from ten o’clock until the funeral hour at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions be made to Hillsboro Church of Christ, 5800 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37215.
