Emogene "Jean" Long Chaffin, age 87, departed this life on July 14, 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on December 23, 1932 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late Robert and Dimple Walker Long. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, husband, Perry Morgan Chaffin, Jr.; brother, Robert "Bob" Long and nephew, Jeff Long.
She is survived by her brother, George (Jean) Long of Cookeville, Tennessee; Brother and Sister-in-laws, Freda Long of Cookeville, Tennessee; Mary Elizabeth Chaffin (John) Ramsey, Joan Chaffin Daugherty of Nashville, Tennessee, and Robert Jones (Mary Ann Braden) Chaffin; dear friends, Sue Wood of Nashville, Tennessee Lisa Dawson and her daughter, Lindsay Dawson of Fairview, Tennessee and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at ten o'clock in the morning on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Woodlawn-Roesch Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park in the Garden of Rebecca.
Pallbearers to be immediate family and friends.
