My heart is so sad with you all over the passing of Ersel. She was a dear friend at St. Paul and fellow Sunday School class member at Woodmont B.C. She was an amazing lady, so kind and thoughtful. May the Lord bring comfort and peace.

My image of Ersel has consistently been of a sweet, cultured, southern lady. My wife, Doris, and I have memories of Ersel going all the way back to 1958! Ersel and I were fellow-employees of the Baptist Sunday School Board, and Doris had the privilege of a short-term work assignment in the area that Ersel supervised. My last association and memory of Ersel was at Brookdale Belle Meade where my wife was a resident. I will always have nothing but the most pleasant memories of Ersel and loved her dearly as a fellow-Christian.
Sincerely,
Carlton Carter
