Estelle Ragland Pirtle

PIRTLE, Estelle Ragland Age 78 of Nashville, TN. June 19, 2012. Estelle was born March 21, 1934 in Jackson County, TN. She was a member of Lebanon Road Church of Christ and devoted child of God. Estelle lived every day serving Jesus and all the people she could. She loved doing for others. She would visit the sick and prepare meals for others. Cooking for others was one of her greatest talents; many have enjoyed her meals. Preceded in death by parents, Baugh & Ruby Ragland; brothers, Bethel Ragland, Tom Ragland; sister, Veatrice Ragland Bryant. She is survived by loving devoted husband of 59 years, Del Pirtle; sons, Byron (Connie) Pirtle, Eric (Tammy) Pirtle; three grandchildren, Joslyn, Ryan & Nathan Pirtle; brother, Bill (Shirley) Ragland; sister-in-law (wife of Tom), Polly Ragland. A Memorial Celebration for Estelle will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Lebanon Road Church of Christ, with Bro. Ralph Brewer & assisted by Joe Adams, Elders at Lebanon Road Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
