

Eunice Dahlinger Hall, age 93, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2014. She is preceded in death by her two husbands, Frank W. Dahlinger, Jr. and Herschel B. Hall; son, Frank W. Dahlinger, III; parents, Ernest and Leona Donald; four brothers, and one sister. Survived by her daughter, Teresa Dahlinger Ford (John Word) ; son, Donald G. Dahlinger (Gail Robbie); daughter-in-law, Carole Dahlinger; grandchildren, Anna (Michael) Campanali, Sarah (Shane) Hastings, Frank Ford, Bill (Lorraine) Dahlinger, Karin (Alex) Hawkins; and 9 great grandchildren. She was born in 1920 in Adairsville, GA. She later moved to Nashville where she met and married Frank W. Dahlinger, Jr. Eunice’s life was built around the love of her family and friends. She was very talented in all her endeavors which included sewing, gardening, crafts and especially cooking. The love of her husband and three children was paramount in her life. She made her house feel like a second home to all who visited. She was deservedly a finalist in the Mrs. Tennessee competition. After Frank’s passing, she later married Herschel Hall. She and Herschel were very happy together and traveled extensively. Eunice was also an active memberof First Lutheran church and was involved in many of their activities.The family would like to express their love and gratitude to her recent caregivers, Donna Betts Frame, Becky Eaton, Corinne Jones and to Odyssey and Alive Hospice for the love and care that they provided for Eunice. A funeral service will be held at twelve o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 18th of January, 2014 at First Lutheran Nashville with visitation held from ten thirty in the morning until service time. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to a charity of your choice.
