Work History: Eva had numerous jobs during her lifetime. Her most important jobs were serving as a wonderful wife and mother. She was an amazing cook, and her recipes will always be treasured. She had an infectious caring spirit, and exuded empathy toward those around her, friends and strangers alike. In her professional career, she was a skilled seamstress and tailor having worked in men’s clothing for many years at the Saxon Shop, and later in women’s clothing at Gus Mayer. Her final work years were spent at “Stitch It” in the Green Hills area, a place she loved dearly. She could work magic with her gifts and talents on any item of clothing that either need to be made or altered. This gift brought great joy to many!
Faith: Christian, several traditions.
Other: A special thanks to the amazing and loving nurses and staff at the Gardens of Providence Place, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and to the nurses and staff at Avalon Hospice Care for their love, care and support of Eva. Her family expresses their deepest gratitude for taking care of our angel.
