Frances P. Denton, age 87, of Mount Juliet, TN, left us on the 28th day of December 2012, to join the love of her life, “Hap” L.H. Denton in eternity after her long battle with Alzheimers. Mrs. Denton will be remembered for her green thumb and love for gardening. She served as a Girl Scout leader and went on to be involved with Big Brothers of Mount Juliet. She is survived by her loving daughters, Ellen (Rick) Hughes, and Cathy Denton; grandson, John (Michelle) Hughes, great-grandson, Johnathon Hughes, foster daughters, Dottie Hollis, and Jane Vance, and nephew, Dr. Bob (Susie) Parkerson. The family would like to express a special thanks to Elmcroft of Lebanon for their loving care to Mrs. Denton, and to Alive Hospice Residence for their compassion to the family at this difficult time. In lieu of floral tributes memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice Residence at 1718 Patterson Street Nashville, TN 37203. A time for visitation with family and friends will be held on the morning of Wednesday, January 2, 2012 from eleven-thirty until one-thirty in the afternoon at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home, with a graveside ceremony following at one-thirty in the afternoon in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
