Frances Marie Farmer passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 in Nashville. She was born on February 3, 1938 in Moore County to Henry Clarence Prince and Nannie Irene Baxter Prince. Frances was a loving wife, mom and nana. She was a soil testing technician with the UT Extension Office and enjoyed being a seamstress. Frances was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by her loving husband, William Laster Farmer of 61 years and two grandsons, Clayton and Matthew Chitwood. Survived by daughters Theresa (Chuck) Rains, Connie (James) Chitwood, Regina (Ed) Guyer and Wendy (Mike) Van Liere and their grandchildren, Stanton Alexander, Jackie Fields, Hannah Trea, Rebekah Chitwood, Gina Ratajc, Kari Raburn, Martin Guyer, Anna Bischoff, Brenna Van Liere and Lexie Van Liere; along with 16 great-grandchildren and three special friends. Visitation will be Saturday, August 24th from 4 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, August 25th from 1 to 2 p.m. at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 25th at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Reverend Tommy Jobe officiating. Burial following at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mike Van Liere, Martin Guyer, Bryan Trea, Rudolf Ratajc, Isaac Bischoff, Scott Raburn, Alan Miller, and Mark Evans.
