Francis Junior Burton

BURTON, Francis Junior - Age 84, departed this life to join God's loving embrace. Francis loved his family and friends. Francis passed away peacefully on May 26, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Selma Jean Burton; mother and father, Charity and Fred Burton; and grandson, William Simpson. Francis is survived by his loving and devoted daughters and son-in-laws, Teresa Gale (Dan) Kenney and Belinda Francine (Terry) Simpson; his grandchildren, Shelley Ralston, Summer Turner, Joshua Turner, and Jada Josette Simpson (Brian) Hueseveldt; two great-grandchildren, John Francis Ralston and Rachel Heuseveldt; and his sister, Wilma (Delton) Denton. Francis retired from Ford Motor Glass Plant after 30 years of service. He also served in the Army as a WWII veteran, stationed in Japan. A Celebration of Life service will be at 11:30 a.m., June 1, 2012 at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall with Rev. Ryan Brown officiating. Interment to follow with military honors. Visitation will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and again one hour prior to the service on Friday.
