Frank James Halliburton, Jr. age 77 was born in Nashville, TN to Frank & Mildred Halliburton passed away on January 28, 2018 in Nashville, TN. Frank is also preceded in death by sisters, Jean Ferrell, Betty McCreary, and Mattie Parham.
Frank is survived by son, Frank Halliburton (Kimber); daughter, Sarah Harris (John); and grandchildren, Cathy, Alex, Raegan, Michael, Rebecca, and Olivia.
Frank was a proud graduate of Father Ryan High School. He was a renowned football and track athlete on a high school and collegiate level. He was a longtime employee of Davidson County Courthouse with the Sheriff’s Office and General Session Judges. Frank was a collectible enthusiast where he took a special interest in collecting model trains and beer cans.
Frank loved his family and was a friend to all. He will be missed by his family and especially his adoring grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday,February 3, 2018 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. at Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home with a memorial service to be held at 1:00 p.m.
