LAMB, Frank Michael “Mike”, age 74. Born July 5, 1938 in Langdale, AL, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Nashville, TN. Preceded in death by his parents Frank Wilson Lamb and Grayce Smallwood Lamb Daniel. Survived by his loving wife Mary Allyce “Sug” Lamb; brother Patrick (Mary) of Brentwood, CA; nephews, Corey (Kelly) and Scott; niece Abby Lamb; great nephew Nathan and great niece Kaitlynn Lamb. Mike graduated from Butler High School in Huntsville, AL, in 1956. He attended the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, receiving his BS and MBA. He served in the US Army from 1960 to 1963. Mike adored his beloved Sug, with his second and third loves being Alabama sports and golf. He had been an active University of Alabama Alumni Association member. He proudly served on the Alumni’s executive committee for several years. He was an avid golfer and loved reminiscing about the 297 golf courses he had played. His love of people was always evident and he truly enjoyed the many friendships he made while following his passions. Mike had many special relatives and friends, and will be genuinely missed for his love of life and sense of humor. He was retired from State Industries (now A.O. Smith) Water Heater Plant as their Quality Control Manager. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 2144 Fairfax Ave., Nashville, TN 37212; the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Graveside service will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday the 21st of March at Middle Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 20th of March at
