He was born on August 19, 1935 in Monico, Wisconsin to Carl and Evelyn Pergande.
He was stationed at Fort Campbell Army Military Base and went on a trip to visit
Nashville where he met the love of his life, Betty Flatt Pergande. They married
December 19, 1955 and were married 53 years. He served in Germany.
He was a member of Smith Springs Church of Christ and Burnett Chapel Church of
Christ. He attended Nashville Diesel College to become a Diesel Mechanic. He loved
spending time with family and friends. He was passionate about helping others,
working on vehicles, hunting, fishing, and riding horses.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Pergande, his parents Carl and Evelyn
Pergande, sister Ruth Cuske, brothers Neal Pergande and Paul Pergande, brothers-in
-law Jack Cuske, Clarence Flatt, Ray Flatt, Billy Flatt, John Lamons, sisters-in-law Sue
Pergande, Marcella Pergande, Agnas Flatt, June Flatt, Linda Flatt, Diana Lamons, and
Jodi Scarlett.
He is survived by his children James (Shirley) Pergande, Deborah (Jeffrey) Callis,
Daniel Pergande, and Robert Pergande, sister Dory Pergande, brother Chuck
Pergande, brothers-in-law Carl Flatt, Harry Scarlett, sisters-in-law Betty Flatt, and Joyce
Wiggins.
Grandchildren Laura (Bruce) Turner. Elissa Callis, Doug (Brandi) Callis, Leah (Steve)
Price. Megan McGuinness.
Greatgrandchildren Nora and Jonathan Turner, Chloe and Thomas Akridge, Carley and
Ella Callis, Brad and Bella Price, Gage and Colt Hatmaker.
