George "Bill" W Wissert Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents George W. Wissert Sr and Mary E. Wissert and by a son, David Everett Wissert. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Myrtle B. Wissert, and children Mary Hens (Martin) of Amherst, NJ; George Wissert III of Antioch and Brian Wissert (Lynn) of Lebanon, TN; grandchildren Madison Wissert and Alexander Wissert. He loved spending time with his family and working in his shop, crafting many things for family and friends. . He also looked forward to his weekly breakfast group meeting, where he always had a joke to entertain with.

The Wissert Family will be receiving friends and family for a visitation from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with a Celebration of Life service at 1:00pm at Brentwood United Methodist Church on Monday, September 25, 2023. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Funeral Home and Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers; please donate to Shriners' Hospitals in memory of Mr. Wissert.
