Gertrude Henard Luther, age 64, died suddenly on November 7, 2016. The daughter of the late Clarence D. and Dorsey Wilson. Beloved mother, sister, aunt, friend and Gigi. A lifelong Lady Vols fan, Gertrude was an avid reader and dedicated many hours to the Nashville Public Library. Her sense of humor and spunk for life will always be cherished in the memories of those who loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Dorsey Luther, son, James McKenzie, sister, Dorsey Hamby (Steve), brother, Doug Henard (Cornelia), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and many lifelong friends. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the ALS association or the Nashville Public Library. Visitation with the family will be on Friday November 11 from 5-7 Pm at Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 12 at 10 AM at the Cathedral of the Incarnation
