FARRIS, Gilda Sigler, 84, went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2013. She was the wife of James William Farris, a retired minister in the Church of the Nazarene, and was a retired elementary school teacher. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Carrie Sigler, sister, Jean Wiseman, husband, James W. Farris and son, Dr. Ronie S. Farris. Mrs. Farris is survived by her children, Judge Lon E. Farris and Darla Farris along with eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley Sigler and brother, Jerry Sigler. Funeral services will be at Two O’clock the afternoon of Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at First Church of the Nazarene, 510 Woodland Street, Nashville, TN, with Jack Galloway presiding. Friends are cordially invited to a viewing One hour prior to the celebration.
