She was born in Camden, TN, on June 2, 1924. On August 28,1944, she married James Ernest Gray and celebrated over 66 years of marriage. Gladys retired from St. Thomas Hospital and Lose and Associates after many years of employment.
Survived by: son, James E. Gray Sr., daughter, Ramona Jean Ricks, grandchildren, Karen Gray Reynolds, James Edward Gray Jr., Georgia Elizabeth Patterson, Rachel Christine Bell, Ryan Walker Bell, four great grand-daughters, and brother, Charles Smith Greer.
Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, James Ernest Gray, her parents, Luther D. Greer and Louise Dora "Lovey" Hargis Greer, and brother, Luther Granville Greer.
Services to be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Wednesday, November 12th at 1:00pm. Visitation with the family prior to the service from 11:00am- 1:00pm. Rev. Ken Edwards and Rev. Charles Gary Greer officiating.
