VON ALMEN, Glenn 0f Hermitage, TN, died on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. He was born July 20, 1926 in Louisville, KY. He was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by a son, Glenn, Jr.; his parents, Cecilia and William; two sisters, Eva Mae and Rose Marie and a brother, Bill. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce; two sons, Neal (Tina) and Bruce (Tammy); six grandsons,Glenn, Austin, Noah, Ira, Elijah and Gabriel; sister, Cecilia of Grove City, Ohio. He was a member of Donelson Presbyterian Church, where a memorial service will be held by Dr. Paul Casner on Saturday, August 14, at 10 :00 a.m. and his remains placed in the church’s columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Donelson Presbyterian Church or McKendree Village in Nashville, TN.
