
Gregg Everett Denson, 49, was born on October 15, 1975, at Women's Hospital in Flowood, Mississippi, to Mollie and Charles Denson, Jr. He quietly departed this life on Friday, October 3, 2025, from a cause of unknown nature and is now in the care of our heavenly Father. Body viewing will be at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, Tennessee. Cremation will be afterwards.
When Gregg was four years old, the family moved from Jackson, Mississippi to Nashville, Tennessee.
Gregg attended Whispering Hills Christian Academy from daycare through the fourth grade. He attended Carter lawrence Elementary School from fifth grade to sixth grade and Antioch Middle Middle School from seventh grade to eighth grade. He played football at Antioch Middle School. He completed his primary education at Antioch High School. White attending Antioch High School, he worked part-time at Kroger as a grocery clerk.
After high school, Gregg moved to Mississippi. He found employment with Pearl River Resort and worked as a porter at the Silver Star Hotel/Casino. He eventually moved back to Tennessee where he applied and was accepted to Miller-Motte Technical College. He attained an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electrical. He then found employment with a construction company that was working on the building of the new Nashville Convention Center. He worked with the company until he suffered a back injury.
Gregg lived a simple life. He took pleasure in chatting with family, snacking and spending time with household pets. he enjoyed watching movies and scary videos, loved to bowl in his earlier years. He enjoyed collecting sports cards. He enjoyed playing Keno in the Tennessee lottery. He because a true Tennessee Titans fan.
Greg was good at internet searching for quick answers for things he was asked about. The family was blessed to have an onsite electrical technician for any electrical issues at home.
Gregg leaves behind his father, Charles; his mother, Mollie; and his brother, Jeremy. Gregg also leaves behind many extended family members and friends. he was greatly loved and will be in our hearts full of fond memories.
The family will plan a memorial service and burial of the ashes at a later date in Mississippi. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the Denson family by selecting "Add a Memory" at the bottom of this page.
