

Gregg A. Willoughby, age 78, of Columbia, Tennessee passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023. He was born on March 29, 1945 in Newark, Ohio to Harry and Sue Willoughby. Gregg was an avid Disney fan. He loved God, life and his family. Gregg considered his nieces and nephews his own children and cared for them as if they were.
He wrote a book called “Lifetime Achievement with Cerebral Palsy” with one of his niece, Amy. He was determined to help others overcome disabilities, which is why he authored this book. Gregg was a light in many lives.
Gregg enjoyed taking trips to Disney World, being around his family and writing in his journal during his free time.
Gregg is survived by his Brother, Bruce E. (Tracy) Willoughby; Sister, Nancy S. (Timothy) Blondin; Nephews, David (Ashton) Willoughby, Jamin (Julia) Willoughby and Jeffrey Blondin; Niece, Amy (James) Mayberry; Great-nephews, Jamin Willoughby Jr, Zackary Willoughby, Brenden Willoughby, Todd Willoughby, Liam Willoughby and Ben Mayberry; Great-nieces, Jillian Willoughby, Hannah Mayberry and Olivia Mayberry.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Sue Marie (Johnson) Willoughby; Father, Harry Allen Willoughby; Grandmothers, Hila (Mount) Johnson and Bertha McGinnis; Grandfathers, Edward Johnson and Harry Allen Willoughby.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Gregg will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. Following the gathering of Family and Friends will be a Cryptside service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
