Doug was a great brother-in-law.
He was married to my sister Peggy Sue.
He inspired one of the best country songs ever written.
Peggy wrote “Don’t Come Home A Drinkin” about Doug in their early years together in Wabash, Indiana.
When they divorced, he was still like a brother to me.
Doug was a big part of the Webb family.
We will miss him.
Love you Doug!!!
Crystal

Lots of fond memories of Doug from our growing up years. I am sure Aunt Ivory is rejoicing at having all her boys with her again.

I met Doug twenty five plus years ago through my great friend Wesley Ligon, I had the pleasure of playing golf and pool with him, and hanging out at the "Hole," and his cool basement over the years. Being from Memphis I didn't get to see him and Wes as often as I would have liked but I always looked forward to hearing Doug's stories of the Nashville music scene of yesteryear and hear him sing his own song, "Get a little while your young." I have a feeling Doug did just that and was a true gentleman and kind soul all along the way. Doug you will be truly missed.

I met Doug through my husband & his buddies. I heard many stories and learned many lessons from Doug at the pool hall, Sportsman’s and, of course, his home.

May you rest peacefully & please know we are forever grateful for your honesty and friendship.
